Merck Serono Ventures, also known as M Ventures, is an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage companies as well as develop companies based off of research being conducted by its parent company, Merck KGaA.It invests in funding rounds such as seed, venture, and Series A. It focuses on the sectors of healthcare (specifically biotechnology), life sciences, performance materials, and new businesses. The fund for the firm contains a total of €300 million. It has made more than 51 investments and has had eight exits.
