Loris.ai is a related branch of the Crisis Text Line, which is a service focusing on preventing suicide. The Crisis Text Line has trained over 20,000 counselors to help deal with suicidal conversations, and has unearthed data regarding sentiments and empathy from over 100,000 million conversations that was utilized to create Loris.ai for enterprise purposes.
Training employees on how to handle difficult conversations through Loris.ai became a training tool for law enforcement agencies who use the service to train for hostage negotiations. Lublin, the founder of the company eventually decided to build an artificial intelligence platform to help sell Loris.ai to companies.
