Jobox is a California based Artificial Intelligence company that focuses on streamlining day-to-day job and finance management for on-demand professionals. Jobox develops an subscription based app service that allows users to view and manage their jobs in a dashboard, send/receive payment, and chat with clients and other users within the app. The app uses a virtual wallet to provide monetary transactions and management features for its users. Users can load a certain amount onto their virtual wallets with their credit card.
The Jobox app is available on the iOS and Android smartphones. The Android version was released to the Google Play Store on Jan 30, 2018. Both apps are only available for users in the United States. During the release and testing period, users required an invite code to use the app features.
As a user of Jobox app, users can pay for jobs or get paid for the jobs. They can check status of their jobs, payments and view insights into their finances inside the app. Users can view the pending, completed, and rejected jobs from their clients on the dashboard. Users can pay other users or charge clients directly from the app and tip professionals. The users can cash out, make deposit or transfer balance from their virtual Jobox wallet for free. Since all transactions are maintained inside the app, users can get personalized reports and insights into their finances in real time.
Additional features include the ability to forward a job to a different person when a user cannot complete it. Reminders and scheduling are also part of the apps core features.
On March 1, 2017 Jobox.ai completed their seed funding round with $2.1 million in funding from Vela Partners.
