Jio Tesseract is a Mumbai-based technology company with a focus on developing and manufacturing products for the augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) spaces. It was founded in 2015 as a spin-off from MIT Media Lab. In 2019, Reliance Industries acquired a majority stake in the company, making Jio Tesseract one of several subsidiaries that belong to the company.
