Indiana University of Pennsylvania

Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is an educational institute located in Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). Established in 1875, IUP focuses on education, higher education, and university services. The institution's motto is "Beyond Expectations".

IUP has multiple accreditations, including from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, American Chemical Society, Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET, Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET, and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The university is affiliated with several organizations, such as the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, American Association of State Colleges and Universities, National Athletic Association, and Association of Public and Land. As of now, IUP has been assigned two patents.
