Holtzbrinck Ventures is a venture capital firm founded in 2000 as the venture arm of the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. They became an independent venture firm in 2010. They have €1 billion assets under management.

Holtzbrinck Ventures looks to invest in companies at the seed or early-growth stage. They look for companies that target large markets or growth markets. Typical investment starts in the €200,000 to €5 million range which can grow to a total investment of €50 million over several rounds. Most companies targeted are European and digital companies.

Holtzbrinck Ventures has had successful investments in Zalando, Delivery Hero, HelloFresh, Flixbus, SumUp, and Scalable Capital. They have funded more than 165 companies.
