On May 8, 2011 Gilt Groupe announced raising $138 million in series E funding from SoftBank Capital (lead investor), TriplePoint Capital, Pinnacle Ventures, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Matrix Partners, Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Eastward Capital Partners, and DFJ Growth. At the time of raising their series E funding the company had a pre-money valuation of $862 million and a post-money valuation of $1 billion. The company also has not made a profit at the time of raising their series E funding round.
On July 19, 2011 Gilt Groupe announced raising an undisclosed amount of funding from Sutter Rock Capital.
