Exabeam

Exabeam is a company offering a security intelligence platform for enterprise-level users. It was established by Nir Polak, Domingo Mihovilovic, and Sylvain Gil in 2013. The company is headquartered in San Mateo, California, United States.  

Exabeam’s main product is a form of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform which users can employ as a whole suite, or as an additional plug-in to existing SIEM. When businesses subscribe to the SIEM platform as a whole, they will receive access to the seven services funneled into three categories: big data architecture (Data Lake, Cloud Connectors), analytics and machine learning (Advanced Analytics, Entity Analytics, and Threat Hunter), and security orchestration (Incident Responder, Case Manager). If existing non-Exabeam SIEM platforms are used, only four of the aforementioned services are available as an additional software. Exabeam’s pricing model is based on the number of users with access to the platform.

Since 2014, Exabeam has managed to raise a total funding of $190 million through five funding rounds, with its most recently held one occurring in May 2019: a series E. This round managed to accumulate $75 million in capital from seven investors. These investors included Norwest Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, and Lightspeed Venture Parenters.
