Founded 2010 in Tokyo, Japan by Batara Eto, Taiga Matsuyama and Willson Cuaca, it invests in early stage ventures, seed, series A, series B, and series C rounds. Its portfolio companies include dahmakan, Waste4Change, Moladin, Hacktiv8, and Waresix. As of March 2020, East Ventures has made 285 investments. Their most recent investment was on February 14, 2020, when Waste4Change raised $3M. East Ventures has had 21 exits, the most notable of which include Mercari, RedMart, and gumi. The company has raised three funds, their latest being Fund VI. This fund was announced on August 21, 2019 and raised a total of $75M.
