Features include labeling that allows users to define and group campaigns, products, and keywords as they wish; shareable dashboards; and exportable data. As well, Downstream stores long-term records of user data, which the company intends to keep safe, and gives users the chance to access it for long-term forecasting based on historical data.
The company's automation includes sales maximization systems that work to keep users on-budget and ensure that their advertising does not make a negative impact on users' growth. Jungle Scout, an Austin-based company building tools for search and market analytics, inventory management, and sales intelligence for companies selling on Amazon, acquired Downstream Impact in March of 2021 to grow Jungle Scout's business capabilities. The acquisition occurs as Jungle Scout is also working to expand their services beyond Amazon to Google Shopping, Facebook, and Walmart.com.
