A key to AvantStay's differentiated offering is its technology that automates rental readiness and maintenance and responds to guest requests. For example, the company's technology can preset property HVAC temperatures and pre-heat hot tubs before guests arrive, and guests can use their mobile phones to request services.

AvantStay also professionally designs its rentals for hospitality, not just to have a place to stay while away. AvantStay converts its properties into full-time vacation rentals. If the property is leased, owners do not live in these spaces while they are part of the AvantStay portfolio.
If a listing can sleep up to twelve people, the dining table will also seat twelve, and homes have premium bedding, towels, and disposable toiletries as in upscale hotels and resorts.
Mountain cabins may have hot tubs, and homes often have grills and firepits to encourage relaxation and socialization among guests. AvantStay also includes fun and interactive games and features, such as pool tables, foosball, shuffleboard, chess sets, and swimming pools.

AvantStay Real Estate, Inc. provides real estate brokerage and property management services, assisting customers and brokers with buying and/or selling properties, referring properties, joining the company as a real estate agent, and/or signing up for property management services. AvantStay launched the brokerage division in October 2021. The division allows interested investors to buy income-producing homes with AvantStay handling the sourcing, onboarding, design, property management, and guest experience all under one platform.
