AvantStay is a premier next-generation hospitality platform for short-term rentals (STRs) targeting the ways people travel and invest. AvantStay operates in over one hundred cities within the United States and Cabo San Lucas, with over 1,500 premier properties. The company has also developed a proprietary technology platform it uses for power bookings, property management, and elevated customer touchpoints.
AvantStay's assets under management (AUM) are over $2 billion. In 2019, AvantStay became one of the initial twelve partners of Homes & Villas by Marriott International and offers direct bookings on more than sixty online travel agencies (OTAs). In 2021, the company was ranked the 2nd fastest growing hospitality company and the 332nd fastest growing company on the Inc. 5000 list, which showcases the nation's fastest-growing private businesses. In 2022, AvantStay ranked 562nd on the Inc. 5000 list. The company is headquartered in West Hollywood, California, and was founded in 2017 by CEO Sean Breuner and Reuben Doetsch.
AvantStay was founded to create a differentiated short-term rental (STR) experience by combining its unique experiential properties with consistently upscale comforts guests are accustomed to at hotels.
A key to AvantStay's differentiated offering is its technology that automates rental readiness and maintenance and responds to guest requests. For example, the company's technology can preset property HVAC temperatures and pre-heat hot tubs before guests arrive, and guests can use their mobile phones to request services.
AvantStay also professionally designs its rentals for hospitality, not just to have a place to stay while away. AvantStay converts its properties into full-time vacation rentals. If the property is leased, owners do not live in these spaces while they are part of the AvantStay portfolio.
If a listing can sleep up to twelve people, the dining table will also seat twelve, and homes have premium bedding, towels, and disposable toiletries as in upscale hotels and resorts.
Mountain cabins may have hot tubs, and homes often have grills and firepits to encourage relaxation and socialization among guests. AvantStay also includes fun and interactive games and features, such as pool tables, foosball, shuffleboard, chess sets, and swimming pools.
AvantStay operates short-term rentals in over twenty destinations across the United States and Cabo San Lucas. Locations include popular vacation destinations, such as Lake Tahoe, Malibu, Vail, Key West, Maui, Oahu, Hilton Head, Park City, and Charleston.
