AYLIEN's News API offers a way for users to build custom ways to search, stream, and analyze web-based news using machine learning and natural language processing. On December 17, 2010 AYLIEN closed their seed funding round with an undisclosed amount of funding from SOSV and Chinaccelerator.

On November 8, 2017 AYLIEN closed an unknown venture round with €2 million in funding from SOSV, Enterprise Ireland, and Atlantic Bridge University Fund.
