Zabo is a cryptocurrency data aggregation company founded in 2018 by David Rockwood, Alex Treece, and Will Dias. The company developed the Zabo API, which connects crypto exchanges, wallets, protocols, and accounts. The Zabo API is used primarily to connect crypto wallets to exchanges rather than bank or brokerage accounts.

Acquisition

On August 4th, 2021, Zabo announced its plans to be acquired by Coinbase, a cryptocurrency exchange platform that was launched in 2009. The details of the sale were not disclosed at the time of the announcement. Coinbase intends to use the Zabo data aggregation tools to make cryptocurrency more mainstream.
