Xomnia is an artificial intelligence (AI) consulting company in the Netherlands. The company was founded by Ollie Dapper and William van Lith in 2013 and is headquartered in Amsterdam.
Xomnia offers consulting services to tailor artificial intelligence (AI) and data solutions to companies to solve their specific challenges. Their team consists of analytics translators, data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers. Some of Xomnia's clients include Randstad, Enexis, HEMA, and TATA Steel.
In addition to its data and AI consulting services, Xomnia has a Machine Learning Engineering Development Program. The program offers clients access to young professionals with relevant full-time or part-time work experience and a well-balanced skill set that includes data engineering and data science at traineeship rates. The program helps young professionals build skills and helps Xomnia clients save money. While on client projects, the trainees are supported, trained, and coached by Xomnia’s experienced core team.
Xomnia’s had a self-driving boat project that evolved into the first (semi-)autonomous shipping technology company. Xomnia launched a joint venture company called Shipping Technology with its partner Shipping Factory in July 2018.
Shipping Technology realizes autonomous shipping through the digitization of nautical processes on board ships. The company extracts, connects, and analyzes nautical data to make inland shipping vessels ready for the future. Artificial intelligence enables Shipping Technology to develop automation, collision detection, and other innovative systems.
