Vyne Dental provides information software that facilitates a secure exchange of health information to dental practices, healthcare providers, and insurance plans and payers. Vyne Dental is part of Vyne, a family of healthcare information exchange and secure communication solutions. The Vyne Dental branch was formed in August 2020 after a merger of Vyne's brand NEA and Renaissance Electronic Services, which Vyne had made an investment in. The result is a single vendor that provides fully electronic management of dental claims, claim attachments, and encrypted email.
The company offers several types of software as different solutions for dentist professionals: FastAttach, FastKapture, FastLook, and Vyne Connect. Each software completes various tasks, such as electronic claim attachment, converting hard copies of claims to digital copies via image capturing, a database of payer attachments requirements, and an email encryption service. Types of documents that can be sent using the software include x-rays, perio charts, explanation of benefits forms, narratives, pre-treatment estimates, and secondary insurance.
When sending patient information using the compay's software, the company states that it has two encryption protocols: 128-bit HTTP over SSL and 256-bit Advance Encryption Standard (AES). It enables the software to be compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA).
