Vyacheslav Molotov was born on February 25, 1890, in Sovetsk, Kirov Oblast and held citizenship in both the Soviet Union and Russian Empire . He was originally named Vyacheslav Mikhaylovich Skryabin and went on to become a distinguished politician, diplomat, and statesman in the USSR .
Molotov was educated at Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University. He played a significant role in the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact and its negotiations.
Throughout his career, he received multiple awards, including the Order of Lenin, Hero of Socialist Labor, Order of the October Revolution, Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", Medal "For the Defense of Moscow", Medal "Veteran of Labor", and Medal "For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
Vyacheslav Molotov passed away on November 8, 1986, in Moscow.
