The company’s Boreas Central Line is designed for placement in the internal jugular vein during intensive care unit (ICU) stays for routine delivery of therapeutics. The line permits chilled saline to be directed to the brain in the even of a cardiac arrest which would cool and protect the brain. This can provide cerebral protection before brain death begins.
