Vernon Reid

Vernon Reid was born on August 22, 1958, in London. He is a guitarist, jazz guitarist, film score composer, musician, songwriter, and producer from the United States. His birth name is Vernon Alphonsus Reid.

Reid was educated at Brooklyn Technical High School and New York University. He is the founder of the Black Rock Coalition and a recipient of Grammy Awards. In addition to his career in music, he also serves as the CEO of Beulah Federal Credit Union.

Throughout his career, Reid has ventured into various music genres, including jazz, jazz fusion, funk metal, hard rock, heavy metal music, funk rock, and alternative metal.
