Veloxint is a company that develops high performance products and parts out of nano-crystalline metal alloys. The company was founded by Alan Lund ad Chris Schuh in 2005, in Framingham, Massachusetts, United States.
The company utilizes technologies that were developed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology by Professor Chris Schuh. The materials that he developed are generally two to five times stronger than traditional alloys. They are composed of the same input metals as traditional alloys, are designed for atomic level up, and are designed to be stable long-term at elevated temperatures.
Veloxint looks to operate within industries and markets such as advanced manufacturing, premium tooling, 3D printing, and the military. Some of the goals for the company include reducing materials and energy waste, producing consumer and industrial drills, develop lightweight components for vehicles, developing body and vehicular armor, providing economical production for 3D printing applications, as well as finding solutions in energy based industries.
