The University of San Carlos (USC) is a private educational institution located in Cebu City, Philippines. It was founded on August 1, 1595, making it one of the oldest universities in the country. USC operates under the motto "Scientia, Virtus, Devotio" and is widely known by the nickname "Carolinians".
