The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is an office in the larger university structure which works to support student and faculty research and professional development.

For students, they offer grant and scholarship opportunities to support research time, materials, and travel, and external opportunities for summer research internships. They offer similar resources and funding for faculty and academic staff, including mentoring opportunities, sabbatical opportunities and community-based research. The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs also hosts events and workshops on campus.
