Universe is a provider of a mobile application designed to build mobile-based websites. The company's application is a mobile-based website builder, eschewing complicated templates for easily customizable website filters that pin designs to a grid pattern where users can drag and drop photos, videos and icons to build up a mobile-optimized website in minutes, enabling small business owners to build a customized website on their phone and have control over it.
Universe is available on iOS, but not Android, as of April 2020.
Through Universe, users can choose a theme for their website, which includes the kind of website they want to create. These options include store, artist, influencer, musician, blog, business, portfolio, event, podcast, photographer, restaurant, agent, church and crafter. The platform allows users to arrange elements on the website, including the websites title, uploaded photos or default photos, email address and social media links.
Universe allows users to publish a one-page website free of charge with the free domain option (.oniverse.com). Anything more complicated or comprehensive or having a specific domain name will incur a charge. To add extra content, users will have to pay for Universe Pro.
