Takeoff Technologies is a company providing an automated and artificial intelligence-enabled grocery fulfillment solution. It aims to lower the last-mile and assembly costs for grocers.
It offers end to end eGrocery solution to its customers, including user interface, assortment and content management, fulfillment, spoke routing, customer pickup and delivery, and replenishment.
Takeoff Technologies is founded by three HBS alumni: José Vicente Aguerrevere, who founded a Venezuelan grocery store chain and previously worked as a management consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton; Max Pedró, a former vice president of international financial services at Walmart; and Rafael Pieretti, a former surgery fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, who has previously co-invested in Venezuelan health initiatives with Aguerrevere after the two first met in kindergarten.
Founded in 2016 in Waltham, Massachusaetts, Takeoff Technologies clients include Albertsons, Ahold Delhaize, Wakefern Food Corp., Sedano's, Woolworths, And LobLaws.
