Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta

Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, also known as Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, is a public educational institute located in South Tangerang, Indonesia. It was founded on June 1, 1957, and focuses on education within the fields of higher education and university studies.

The university's motto is "Knowledge, Piety, Integrity" and it is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Republic of Indonesia as well as the Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi A Ranking. Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta is affiliated with the ASEAN University Network, a consortium of universities in Southeast Asia that aims to promote collaboration among its members.
