Suplari is a Seattle-based startup using artificial intelligence to assist companies in understanding spending habits. The company was founded in January of 2016 by Jeff Gerber, Brian White, and Nikesh Parekh.
Suplari analyzes procurement and spending data entering various enterprise systems using artificial intelligence (AI) and can provide recommendations for cost-saving, risk exposure, and other gaps.
On July 28, 2021, the tech giant Microsoft announced it had acquired Suplari. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, the company stated the acquisition would pair Suplari with Microsoft's existing program Microsoft Dynamics 365 "to maximize financial visibility."
