Starfish Ventures is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in information technology, life sciences, and clean technology companies that is headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria and was founded in 2001 by John Dyson and Michael Panaccio. The firm is managing three venture capital funds (Pre Seed Fund, and Technology Funds I and II) with more than $400M in capital.

Notable investments made by Starfish Ventures include: Aktana, Armaron Bio, DesignCrowd, Nitro, Atmail, DorsaVi, MetaCDN, Myriax, Murigen, Mimetica, Distra, Icix, Hollyconnects, Ourcast, Qs Semiconductor, ScriptRock, Space Time Research, and Style Tread.

On November 13, 2008 Starfish Technology announced raising $185 million in venture capital for their Tech Fund II. The firm will be investing in information technology, life sciences, and clear technology companies over the course of three years after raising their Tech Fund II. Starfish Ventures will use their Tech Fund II to primarily invest in companies operating in Australia.
