The history of the Siberian Vodka Company is closely connected with the history of the production of alcoholic beverages in the city of Mariinsk. It all started in 1867 with the production of alcohol at the Petrovsky distillery, created by the merchant of the 2nd guild, Viktor Petrovich Cherdyntsev. As a result of the state wine monopoly, in 1894 it was decided to build 300 state-owned wine warehouses throughout Russia. In the Tomsk province and the Semipalatinsk region, it was decided to build 8 state-owned warehouses in county towns, including warehouse number 3 in the city of Mariinsk.
The construction of a wine warehouse in Mariinsk had an administrative and economic justification. It was the county center, located in a rather densely populated grain-growing region, next to the existing distilleries, through which the Siberian tract and the railway passed. In 1902, the production of table wine (vodka) was started in Mariinsk. In 1937, a distillery was built, which later became a combine.
Limited Liability Company "Siberian Vodka Company" was established on the basis of a structural subdivision of the vodka shop of OJSC "Spirtovy Kombinat" - the largest alcohol producer in the Russian Federation. The enterprise is located in the city of Mariinsk, Kemerovo Region, on the bank of the Kiya River. The city is surrounded by centuries-old Siberian taiga and is located in an ecologically clean corner of Russia, far from large industrial cities.
The main activity of the company is the production, storage and supply of produced alcoholic beverages (vodka).
To date, the Siberian Vodka Company is part of the structure of enterprises of the Siberian Business Union Holding Company, the largest company in the Kuzbass, Altai Territory and other regions of Russia.
