Semron is a developer of semiconductor chips, optimized for artificial intelligence with algorithms that are modeled after the brain's energy consumption and efficiency. The company's AI-chips are made using a new complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) compatible device design that has low latency and better density than digital solutions. Semron is a fabless semiconductor company focused on chip design and kernel development.

Visualization of Semron's CapRAM solution.
The company's patented CapRAM technology works to develop In-memory computing. The CapRAM is intended to offer unlimited parallel weight without asymmetrical SET/RESET behavior and digital-like accuracy while eliminating transistors from the crossbar. The company's CapRAM is part of Semron's intention to build an efficient semiconductor chip suited for AI. Semron's approach to developing their semiconductors is intended to develop neuronal architectures using standardized or older technology nodes in order to increase the scalability of the chip design.
Semron's Ginkgo series of AI chips are being developed to be energy efficient, with the design focus of the Gingko series being the mean between area requirements, low latency, and energy consumption. These chips are designed for use in edge computing scenarios. This series of semiconductors is intended to reduce the pain points for edge devices; pain points that include overheating processors caused by insufficient cooling due to limited weight storage, latency issues, and short battery lifetimes based on the size and efficiency of edge devices.
The Lotos series of processors is developed by Semron to focus on flexibility for training applications in uncertain network topology.
