SeizeFace

SeizeFace is a California-based Artificial Intelligence company providing on-premise face recognition systems without the need for a cloud infrastructure. The company builds computer vision platform that can run efficiently without requiring high-end hardware or cloud-based subscription. Being locally operated, the platform can achieve real-time face recognition speed with its 1:N matching algorithm.

Seizeface is a standalone face recognition platform that operates locally with existing hardware. The product is targeted towards small companies with a low budget and low-end hardware. The deep learning algorithm uses CPU-based facial recognition compared to GPU based cloud alternatives. It captures video streams, stores, and computes faces in the local environment. The isolation provides privacy from the internet based threats and decreased database access latency. The platform claims to be able to perform 1-vs-N match in a database of 10,000 people within 3 seconds.

The platform is built to assess the crowd and provide access to verified faces without intervention. The target market includes events, company buildings and restricted areas for access for registered patrons.
