Sapienza University of Rome, also known as Sapienza Università di Roma and Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza, is a public educational institute located in Rome, Italy. Founded by Pope Boniface VIII in 1303, Sapienza University is affiliated with the European University Association and accredited by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research of Italy. The university is part of the organization dedicated to archaeology, education, higher education, life science, and university industries.
