Novacap is a venture capital and private equity firm investing in industrial, technology, media, and telecommunication companies that is headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec and was founded in 1981 by Marc Beauchamp.

The TMT V fund exceeded its initial fundraising target by 40%. The president and managing partner of Novacap, Pascal Tramblay, made the following statement regarding the TMT V fund:
