Northwestern Oklahoma State University

Northwestern Oklahoma State University (NWOSU) is a public educational institution located in Alva, Oklahoma, United States. Founded in 1897, NWOSU is a part of the Regional University System of Oklahoma.

The university operates in multiple industries; education, higher education, and as a university. NWOSU is accredited by various organizations, including the Higher Learning Commission, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, and the Council on Social Work Education, among others.
