National Zoological Park (United States)

The National Zoological Park (United States) is a zoo and an entertainment entity, being a part of the zoos and botanical gardens industry. Established on January 1, 1889, by United States Congress, it is a member of the Smithsonian Institution. The official name of this organization is National Zoological Park.

Located in Washington, D.C., as well as Rock Creek Park in the United States, the park is both a company and an organization.
