Minna Technologies is a software company offering a subscription management platform for retail banking that is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and was founded in 2016 by Joakim Sjöblom, Jonas Karles, and Marcus Lönnberg.
The Minna Technologies platform allows retail banks to increase their digital customer engagement and manage all their retail customer subscriptions in one location. The platform also allows retail banks to cancel customer subscriptions and payments, and build a customer marketplace for offering communication, banking utility services, and financial products. Notalbe banks working with Minna Technologies include Swedbank, Visa, Danske Bank, and SpareBank.
The Minna Technologies platform offers the ability for utility and subscription service companies to sell their products in digital channels created by retail banks working with Minna Technologies. The platform allows companies to directly sell their products to customers inside of retail banking applications created by each retail bank. Customers are able to negotiate their subscription costs and easily switch between subscriptions based on their personal preferences. Notalbe companies selling their subscription services on the Minna Technologies platform include Tele2, Vattenfall, E-on, 3, Skelleftea Kraft, TelgeEnergi, and Com Hem.
On May 17, 2019 Minna Technologies announced raising $6.2 million in series A funding from Zenith Group, Visa, and Swedbank. The company plans on using their series A funding to begin expanding their services to European banks outside of Sweden, and open a new European office outside of Sweden.
