Locus.sh is a global logistics optimization platform. It uses deep learning and proprietary algorithms to provide route optimization, real-time tracking, insights and analytics, beat optimization, warehouse management, vehicle allocation and utilization, intuitive 3D or bin packing and measurement of packages.
Locus was founded in 2015 by Nishith Rastogi and Geet Garg who are both graduates from BITS Pilani and IIT Kharagpur, who later worked together as engineers at Amazon. In 2014, they developed Pinchat, a location-based conversational platform. They also developed a geo-tracking app, RideSafe for women’s safety in 2015 which tracks route deviations by drivers from the pre-decided track. Ridesafe was the result of irrational but worrisome late-night situation for Nishith while his sister was visiting Bangalore. It was later adopted by food tech companies to track deviations of their delivery staff.Nishith manages strategy and innovation at Locus and Geet manages the engineering and technology. They have operations in South-east Asia, Middle East, and North America with customers including Tata Group of companies, Urban Ladder, Lenskart, LiciousLicious, and Rollick, among others.
