He currently serves as an investor or an advisor for Rippling, Boom, Relativity Space, Solugen, Applied Intuition, Lattice, Embark, Mux, Retool, ClassDojo, Clearbit, Mercury, Roam Research, Gecko Robotics, Standard, Truework, as well as other companies. He sits on the boards of Clearbit and NexHealth.

In 2011, Buckely founded Mino Games, located in Montreal, Quebec. Mino Games is a mobile application game developer and developed games like Mino Monster and Cat Game- The Cats Collector!.
