JOKR

JOKR is a Germany-based platform that offers a range of retail products from hyperlocal warehouses, allowing customers to receive faster delivery of goods by bike couriers in under fifteen minutes. The company has various hyperlocal micro fulfillment centers stocked with the application's offered goods where couriers retrieve orders for delivery. JOKR offers a wide variety of products; the CEO Ralf Wenzel stated in an interview regarding the company:

We are building Amazon on steroids. It’s not just convenience on demand but a new generation of retail.

Currently, individual proprietors can apply to join JOKR as a product supplier, property owner, or courier through the company website.

On April 22, 2021, it was announced that JOKR had made expansion plans to start operations in the United States. JOKR's previous operations are live in various cities, including Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lima, Peru; and Mexico City, with 2021 plans for launch in Bogata, Colombia and other cities in the U.S. and Europe. JOKR has secured over twenty retail locations in New York City and is also looking to expand to New Jersey.
