Kaszek Ventures is a venture capital firm that partners with entrepreneurs to build high-impact technology-based companies whose main initial focus is Latin America. Founded by Hernan Kazah and Nicolas Szekasy in 2011, the company is industry and stage agnostic, mainly investing in seed, series A and series B. In addition to capital, they supply expertise and insights in strategy, operational execution, team-building, growth, technology, product, networking and more.
Kaszek Ventures set up three investment funds, KV-I for $95 million, KV-II for $135 million, and KV-III for $200 million. The firm invests in Latin America and prefers to invest between $0.5 million and $5 million in equity. The company invests in a wide range of companies like Kavak, Escale and Digital House. Exits include companies like LoveMondays, Eventioz and eOtica.
In addition to capital, Kaszek offers strategic guidance, operational support and access to local and international networks to its portfolio of entrepreneurs.
