On August 8, 2014 Izenda completed their series A funding round with $3 million in funding from Hawthorne Capital and Ethos Private Equity. Izenda planned on using their series A funding for growing and expanding their market within the business intelligence and analytics software market. The founder and CEO of Izenda, Sanjay Bhatia, made the following statements regarding Izenda's series A funding:
