Gynoveda

Founded by husband-wife duo Rachana and Vishal Gupta, Gynoveda is a tech-enabled platform that focuses on women's menstrual health.

Incepted in March 2019, Gynoveda is "combining technology, content, and Ayurveda to solve period problems"

Ayurveda is an ancient Indian medicinal and belief system that is holistic. Ayurveda's beliefs maintain that all things are made of the five elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Space. The energies are then combined in the body to create three life energies called Doshas; which control how the body functions. The energies are assessed by Ayurveda practitioners who will consider an individual's unique energy combination, both physical and emotional, before prescribing therapies such as meditation, massage, supplemental herbs or vitamins, medical oils, blood purification, etc.

Gynoveda is using Ayurveda to aid various menstrual issues by providing supplemental products made from medicinal herbs. The website offers a period test where users can assess what products they may benefit most from.
