GrubMarket primarily offers food products in their online marketplace. They offer fresh produce that is organic and non-GMO; as well as processed food that carefully considers dietary restrictions such as vegan, gluten-free, cholesterol-free, and trans-fat free. GrubMarket also provides other consumer products such as home goods and health and beauty products. All their products come directly from the supplier, thus allowing GrubMarket to offer wholesale prices to their users.
Since 2015, GrubMarket has collected $89.1 million in funding through five rounds of financing. During its participation in the YC W15 cohort of Y Combinator, the company raised an estimated $64,100,000. Its most recent funding round was held in April 2019, raising $25 million. Thirty-four investors have funded GrubMarket since its first funding round, with four amongst them as lead investors. These investors include WI Harper Group, ACE & Company, GGV Capital, Digital Garage, and Alumni Ventures Group.
