Fusion Fund (fka NewGen Capital)

Fusion Fund is an early stage venture capital firm founded in 2015 by Lu Zhang. The fund targets its investment on the connected industry (robotics, mobility, internet of things), network technology, artifical intelligence, and digital healthcare device sectors. Zhang raised her first fund of $17 million in 2015 under the name New Gen Capital. New Gen Capital backed 36 companies. In May 2018, Zhang annouced the launch of her second fund of $85 million under the name Fusion Fund. Fusion Fund is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
