Greenfield One

Greenfield One is a Berlin-based, investment firm. The firm primarily focuses investments in cryptocurrency start-ups and protocols. Greenfield One was founded in 2018 by partners Jascha Samadi and Sebastian Blum. Jascha Samadi has previously been involved with crypto technology as a founder and investor. He was a founder/co-founder of multiple companies including Flux, My Poker Shop, Jupidi, Apprupt, Buying Labs, and 040 Capital. Sebastian Blum has also been an active investor prior to joining Greenfield One. Greenfield one is currently focusing investments in European Web 3 projects.

In November 2021, the firm raised a $160 million fund for the purpose of crypto investments, which is currently one of Europe's largest crypto funds. The fund was backed by multiple private sector investors including Bertelsmann Investments, Lennertz & Co from Hamburg, Swisscom, CommerzVentures, Galaxy Vision Hill, a business unit of Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital, and Aldea Ventures. This was the firm's third fund; the first was raised in 2019.
