EarBuds (company)

EarBuds is an Austin, Texas-based developer of a mobile application that allows users to listen to music with peers and engage with each other while listening. The company's platform allows users to get closer and discover music through people they admire and engage with them live through voice, music, and social media. Further, the platform allows users to synchronize and stream music with their friends and offers a livestreaming platform where users can promote their songs and socialize with their favorite artists.

The company was founded in 2017 by CEO Jason Fox, a former football player for the Miami Dolphins.

The EarBuds application allows users to share music, build playlists together, and chat. Users can create private groups for a few or start or join large public groups based on shared interests. It offers a way for users to find new music through the application's matching algorithms, based on music shared and listened to. EarBuds can automatically create a playlist from songs from chats to develop unique playlists. The application is offered free to users with a premium subscription to Spotify or Apple Music and is being developed to work also with Pandora, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and Tidal.
