ClearSpace Aero is a Las Vegas based Artificial Intelligence company providing aerial traffic management and security system services. The company develops technology using deep learning to assess and control drones and aerial vehicles for transport or security. The company also develops technology that can take over control of drones and aviated vehicles in restricted areas.
The company works on aviated vehicles management system called DAR (Direct Aviated Response). DAR allows the company to provide three separate services for its customers. Drone collision management prevents airplanes from colliding with inbound drones and remote-controlled aerial vehicles. Drone traffic management helps create systematic pathways for aerial vehicles. Drone cybersecurity for infrastructure prevents unidentified aerial drones and vehicles from getting near restricted areas.
The DAR platform can take over control of a drone in range with AI signature matching algorithms. This autonomous system can be used in aircraft to disable or turn them away when they are in range to ensure safety.
The platform aims to manage traffic for autonomous aerial vehicles by using global positioning system and machine learning to create non-collision pathways. The platform accesses aerial vehicles and assigns them vector pathways that enable safe transit for every vehicle.
The platform uses geo-fencing like technology for companies who do not want drones and aerial vehicles in their area. The system can take over the control for the drone to disable or turn it to the other direction using artificial intelligence. The system is targeted towards law-enforcement and private security entities.
Peter Whitmarsh and Shana Whitmarsh founded ClearSpace Aero. On January 2017, the team tried to raise funds for an app for aircraft owners through Kickstarter but failed. ClearSpace Aero is patenting its Artificial Intelligence technology through funding from Investors.
