Carbiotix

Carbiotix is a personalized nutrition company that produces consumer gut health products and microbiome therapeutics.

Carbiotix was founded in 2014 as a spin-off company from the Department of Biotechnology at Lund University, Sweden. The company produced a soluble fiber ingredient called AXOS.

In 2016, an Ireland-based Pure Fiber Limited was formed to commercialize AXOS. In 2017, Carbiotix shifted focus to consumer gut health solutions using affordable microbiome testing, and in early 2018 launched its LoveGut and PersonalGut services.
