In December 2021, Bottomline Technologies announced entering into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Thoma BravoThoma Bravo, a software investment firm, in an all-cash transaction valuing Bottomline at approximately $2.6 billion. When the transaction is complete, Bottomline will become a privately held company.
