Bio-Mine conducts research in clean mine solutions, such as biological engineering and analysis of the DNA/RNA of potential bio-communities to advance clean chemistry and REDOX for the development of cleaner products for leaching and detoxification. The company provides solutions for mine operators wanting to lower their footprint in the processing part of their business. Bio-Mine expanded its divisions into safe chemistry and controlled REDOX reactions to compliment their research into biomining with DNA/RNA sequencing and CRISPR gene editing technology. Bio-Mine is developing custom bio-communities based on extremeophile adaptive families. The company acquired a new 7500 sq foot lab facility in 2018. Bio-Mine is developing multiple clean technologies for leaching and detoxifying. Bio-Mine has a clean recovery plant prototype planned for construction in 2019, to process minerals safely, and reduce or eliminate tailings water.
