Balto (company)

Balto was a company that developed automation tools for a fantasy sports gaming platform. Balto was founded in 2018 by Joel Karacozoff, Nick Montana, and Spencer Cassidy. In December 2020, Balto was acquired by FuboTV.

Balto produced contest automation software for fantasy sports bets. Balto stated its software "significantly reduces the amount of time and manual labor necessary for those that are tasked with managing these contests." Balto's software enables its users to manage, track, and communicate with hundreds and thousands of contest players.

Balto was acquired by FuboTV in December 2020 for an undisclosed amount. Balto's employee team was absorbed into FuboTV to continue the development of their automation software. FuboTV purchased it with the intent of developing free-to-play games using their own platform. Balto no longer functions independently.
