In August 2007, Andasa GmbH was established by Karsten Schnieder under the name AdiCash. The Leipzig, Germany-based company gives users a chance to shop at about 4700 online brands. Andasa offers starting vouchers, and users can register for the cashback program and also get the Andasa Mastercard GOLD.
The company incentivizes online shoppers with cash bonuses rather than points. Andasa claims to credit users with about 2% to 5% of the net value of the goods for their online purchases that are made from their partner companies.
Andasa combines the commissions from its customers' online purchases, and as a result, returns part of the commission to the online buyer. The company finances itself with the rest of this commission. For this reason, Anadasa also claims to not pass on customers' personal data to third parties.
